So I only have a few minutes to use all of my words. I warn this may be sloppy and unpleasant. My sister and I both love the word wanderlust, and I must say, this week I'm having wanderlust as spring break becomes within view. I can't wait to spend some time just chilling out in a town other than my own. Traveling is just the best.
I spent the first part of my Saturday at a professional development event. It was absolutely wonderful and reminded me that my job is really a vocation in both sense of the word. I love what I do. I then went on to workout. After reaching the zenith of my 5k training plan, I've had to move on to a 10k plan. This new plan is forcing me to experiment with new gadgets at the gym since I'm supposed to be cross-training two days a week. I must say that my cross-training days do not require me to use quite the vigor I use when I'm running, but it definitely works new sets of muscles; this week I learned that any vestige of muscle I had left from all of my bike-riding days is definitely gone.
My committeemen’s this week were voluminous--it seemed like I had somewhere to be at all the times. This increase in commitments sometimes left me feeling a bit volatile at times, and I feel sorry for anyone who had to interact with me during my less pleasant moments. :) Having completed the week, I am feeling like I'm coming back to the more vivacious side of my personality.
Last night was really fun. I went over to a friend's house where a virtuoso of fire building provided a nice little bonfire. It was the perfect way to spend a Friday night, and I even came home from work and changed out of my teacher clothes into something a little more in vogue.
I think this is by far my most boring blog, but at least I got all of my words in before my session timed out. :) I'm out.
